Gov. Bobby Jindal orders flags at half-staff through September 11

Gov. Bobby Jindal is ordering the flags at all state buildings to be flown at half-staff this week, to memorialize Louisiana soldiers who have died in wars fought since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The governor's office says 124 Louisiana soldiers have died because of the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Read more at www.nola.com
